Successfully partnering with social service agencies, training programs and educational institutions for over 20 years


​Career Closet works in concert with qualified agency/training programs to provide office-appropriate clothing to women in financial need who are about to interview for improved employment opportunities. These clients visit Career Closet on an appointment-only basis, where they peruse our broad selection of quality, office-appropriate women's clothing in all sizes, assisted by knowledgeable volunteers who seek to be both professional and supportive. Similarly, clients are expected to honor their appointments, or notify us if they have unavoidably been delayed.


Career Closet relies on the qualified agency/job training program to screen clients for financial need, and for their commitment to improving their skills and employment prospects. We also rely on the referring agency to schedule the appointments (including any need for train or bus pick-up by our volunteers) and to stress to clients the importance of arriving at Career Closet on time, as they would for any professional appointment.

To be approved as a referring agency/job training program and start sending clients to Career Closet for office-appropriate clothing, please send us your name, contact info, and a brief summary of your program to Career Closet at info@careerclosetwestchester.org . Our Director will then contact you to provide more information, and, we hope, to start providing office-appropriate clothing to your clients, as well.

Instructions and Sign Up Forms

[To complete "Fill in Pdf's" on your computer and save them, do not fill-in the file on line or the info will disappear. Download the file to your desktop, then open it on your desktop using the free version of Adobe Reader, available at https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/  .  You can them edit this file on your desktop, and save it under a different name including the date of the appointment. ]

Because of Covid 19, Career Closet has revamped procedures for the safety of clients and volunteers alike, as more fully explained in the Referring Agency Instructions and the Client Package:

  • CLIENT PACKAGE - Client saves pdf to computer; client then completes page 1, saves with date, and (i) returns saved form to agency to submit to Career Closet and (ii) brings copy with them to Career Closet on day of appointment.

Please note: Career Closet is open by appointment only. Client appointments must be arranged by a referring agency, as described in Refer-a-Client, including confirmation of the requested appointment by Career Closet.
